Sugar Bowl Tickets and BCS Championship tickets are a great way to double dip your way into the new year. Picture yourself in new Orleans, one of the great party cities in the Unites States, and you’re going to bookend about 10 days of fun with tickets to both the Sugar Bowl on Jan 3rd, watching Michigan vs Virginia Tech, then on Jan 9th, you pick up your BCS Championship tickets and head for the Superdome to see one of the great rematches of the college football season as the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide face off to decide the title.

In between games, as if the Sugar Bowl and BCS Championship aren’t enough, you get to spend a week in New Orleans. What to do?

1) Head to Drago’s and get the grilled oysters. Believe me they can’t be beat.

2) Enjoy the night life in the French Quarter. Pat O’s is the place.

3) Cast the dice at Harrah’s Casino.

4) Take a trip across Lake Pontchartrain to Slidell and do the Swamp Tour. On your way back stop at Peck’s Seafood and enjoy the gumbo and a Shrimp PoBoy.

5) New Orleans Hornets Tickets are available for games against the 76ers on Jan 4th, and the Denver Nuggets on the 6th.

Starting to get the picture? This could be the best week of vacation you ever had.

Ohio State Buckeyes tickets have traditionally been tops in college football tickets. The Buckeyes have been successful and prominent, bringing acclaim to the university. I can remember many a bowl game watching the Buckeyes take apart one or another opponent. Those were the highs that came along with Ohio State Buckeyes tickets.

Then came the lows and they’ve been coming one right after another. First and foremost was the disgraceful discovery of players trading their Ohio State memorabilia for tattoos. How stupid can you be? But the real kicker came when it was discovered that Jim Tressell, the man who really made Ohio State Buckeyes tickets into treasures, knew about the whole thing and tried to kick it under the rug. Now, it has been announced that the Ohio State Buckeyes have been banned from any College Bowl Game appearance for one year, limited scholarships, and a probation period. Such is the legacy of Jim Tressell.

But more ups are on the way for Buckeyes ticket holders. The hiring of Urban Meyer is a start in the right direction. It’s hoped that Meyer is now fully healthy and rested after his hiatus and can lead the Ohio State Buckeyes to a BCS National Championship the way he did Florida. After a couple of years operating under restrictions, Meyer has the chance to re-build and esteemed college football program and I believe he will. So don’t lose faith Ohio State fans, your Buckeyes tickets, though operating under a cloud, will soon be in the light again.

2012 Sugar Bowl tickets are out there now, just waiting for you to scoop them up. As difficult as it can be to get your hands on Sugar Bowl tickets on your own, that’s how easy it is when you’re online with CollegeFootballTickets.com. We’ve got the inside track on the Sugar Bowl, Rose Bowl, BCS Championship, or any college football tickets you can name. Come along with us for just a minute and let’s see what you’ll be getting with your 2012 Sugar Bowl tickets.

First of all the teams. The 2012 Sugar Bowl features the Michigan Wolverines, who finished second in the Big Ten, and are the 13th ranked college football team in the nation. The Wolverines took a big jump in the polls at the last minute to earn their berth in the Sugar Bowl, topping teams like Michigan State and Houston in their selection. Michigan fans are known to support their team in a big time way and the Sugar Bowl obviously was looking for a big draw in their pick of the Wolverines for the 2012 Sugar Bowl.

On the other side of the field will be the Virginia Tech Hokies, another football powerhouse with big drawing power. The Hokies were the top team in the ACC, finishing with an 11-2 record overall and 7-1 in the conference. Because of their offensive prowess and their ability to draw faithful fans from across the nation, the Hokies were an obvious pick for the Sugar Bowl. When Virginia tech is on the field, the scoreboard operator is always busy.

It all sets up a fine time to be had with 2012 Sugar Bowl tickets. The Michigan Wolverines and Virginia Tech Hokies will meet on Jan 3rd in the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. be there for all the good times in the Crescent City with Sugar Bowl tickets from CollegeFootballTickets.com.

It’s time to gear up for Rose Bowl tickets again and Frontrow.com has everything you need to get there. Each and every college football season is different, but one thing remains the same and that’s the fact that Rose Bowl tickets are top of the line when it comes to College Bowl game tickets.

Rose Bowl Tickets

In 2012 it’s going to be the Wisconsin Badgers and Oregon Ducks taking the field in the 2012 Rose Bowl. The Wisconsin Badgers fought their way out of a hole created when they lost a couple of heartbreakers on the road to finally triumph in the Big Ten Championship, beating Michigan 42-39. That win propelled Wisconsin into the Rose Bowl and a spot in the BCS Top 10. The Oregon Ducks took their own route to the game, winning the PAC 12 Championship along the way. This makes the third year in a row that the Oregon Ducks have been in a major BCS Bowl but they have yet to claim a win. Hopefully for Ducks fans, these 2012 Rose Bowl tickets will be the charm.

The 2012 Rose Bowl will take place in Pasadena, California on Jan. 2nd 2012. Get your Rose Bowl tickets lined up, enjoy the Tournament of Roses and the Rose Bowl Parade, then head out to Rose Bowl Stadium and watch the Ducks and Badgers tear it up in the new year.

Fiesta Bowl Tickets – Cowboys vs Cardinal

2012 Fiesta Bowl tickets bring what I consider to be the best BCS Bowl matchup short of the BCS Championship and that’s only because a national title is not at stake. Think about it. With just a shade more offense on either side, one of these teams could be playing for that title. That narrow miss is what make Fiesta Bowl tickets a real bargain.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys were in contention for that BCS Championship Game up until a week 11 loss to Iowa sent the Cowboys down in the polls. It’s strange how one bad week can derail a whole season but that’s life in the world of college football. The Oklahoma Cowboys ran off 10 straight wins during the season, eclipsing three ranked teams in Texas A&M, Texas, and Kansas State before their unlikely loss. A win over #10 Oklahoma in their final game failed to give them enough push to make the cut for the BCS Championship game.

The Stanford Cardinal followed much the same script, reeling off nine straight wins while riding the arm of Andrew Luck. The quarterbacks shot at a Heismann Trophy kept Stanford in the national spotlight before a loss to #7 Oregon in Week 10 pretty much eliminated the Cardinal from BCS Championship contention. Still, the Cardinal are a very solid college football team and watching them take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys should give any college football fan enough offense to keep them happy all night.

Rose Bowl Tickets

Oregon and Wisconsin fill out the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Jan 2 in Pasadena in a game that pits the PAC-12 Champion against the Big Ten Champion. Both these teams have been here before and both are stinging from their recent losses in this same Rose Bowl. Either Oregon or Wisconsin will erase that bad memory and having earned their Rose Bowl tickets the hard way, I expect this to be a hard fought game.

The Wisconsin Badgers come to the Rose Bowl by virtue of an 11-2 record and are returning to the Rose Bowl after having lost to TCU in the same stadium last season.

The Oregon Ducks were in that same position last season having dropped their last Rose Bowl appearance to Ohio State and earning their return ticket this season with an 11-2 record.

The 2012 Rose Bowl is a kind of rarity as the traditional Pac-12 vs Big Ten format has fallen by the wayside in light of the BCS influenced rankings.

The BCS Championship Game has been set and it’s LSU vs Alabama once again. It’s a bit of deja vu all over again as this matchup occurred earlier in the season and was hyped all over as the game that would separate the contender from the also ran. And it was one heck of a game as LSU and Alabama battled all through regulation and into overtime before LSU finally hit a field goal in overtime to take a 9-6 win.

So we get LSU and Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game despite the fact that some have claimed foul, having watched this once before. I myself am not a big fan of the lineup. I think the BCS would have been better served had a team like Oklahoma State or Stanford managed to survive the college football season undefeated. But maybe I’m just being a homer and wishing it was anybody but Alabama, a team I think is perfectly capable of beating LSU on any given day.

But believe me, LSU vs Alabama and BCS National Championship tickets make a fine combination. I could make every argument that these are the best two teams in college football today. It’s going to be a beast of a game down in New Orleans, one I think totally worth of deciding who gets to hoist that trophy.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have managed to win the Big 12 Championship, topping the Oklahoma Sooners 44-10. In doing so, many feel that they’ve made a good enough case to be considered frontrunners for a match against LSU in the BCS Championship Game. The Cowboys have clearly been the class of the conference all season and effectively erased memories of a long losing streak to the Sooners while proving that when it comes to defense, you can give up some substantial yardage as long as you’re also taking the ball away.

In this case the Cowboys managed five turnovers against the Oklahoma Sooners, but will that be enough in the minds of the BCS voters. My contention is that it should be becaus ethe BCS voters are just hoping to be swayed in any direction other than a rematch of the LSU-Alabama game that would make an All-SEC BCS Championship and also reduce interest in the game to two southern states who really don’t need the hype to increase the intensity of their rivalry.

Nope, the BCS Championship Game should pit two quality teams from different conferences. I can live with the conjecture that the Alabama Crimson Tide are a great football team. I can even concede the possibility that they may be as good as or even better than LSU and just had a bad night in their 9-6 loss to the Tigers. BUt they lost and that’s the way it goes. Now the Oklahoma State Cowboys have their chance. Granted that they’ve also experienced a loss. But from the point of view of the BCS, they offer a much more attractive package for college football fans in a Big 12-SEC contest. It spreads things around and in most years you won’t find the bottleneck of 1-loss team you see in college football this season. The Oklahoma State Cowboys deserve to bring their high octane offense into the Mercedes Benz Superdome to face one of the best college football defenses, and teams, in years. Let it rip.

If you were sweating out the first half of the SEC Championship Game between Georgia and LSU, having been banking on BCS Championship Tickets, then you thoroughly enjoyed the second half. The final score was no indication of just how slim a hold on this thing that LSU had at halftime. Georgia did everything they had to do in the first half, starting with grabbing a lead, following that with playing excellent defense. What they couldn’t do was avoid the big play by the Honey Badger, and they couldn’t make their own big plays when needed.

BCS National Championship Tickets

In the first two quarters LSU was held without a first down. Georgia managed 10 points and could have had 14 if not for two dropped passes that would most likely have been for TD’s. It’s the kind of mistakes a team like LSU will use to find a way back in and they did. Tyrome Mathieu snagged a punt late in the first half and returned it 62 yards to make things 10-7 at the half. He later scooted on a 92-yard return that set up another LSU score, and then recovered a fumble. In the end, it was an LSU second half onslaught.

LSU and BCS National Championship tickets have been headed in the same direction for months. The Tigers have beaten ranked teams in precarious positions all through the season. Some have said it may have been the toughest schedule in college football ever. That’s a question for the ages. What college football fans want to know now is: Who will the BCS pick to face LSU in the BCS National Championship Game?

Join me as I look at 2012 Sugar Bowl tickets in a a way too early prediction of exactly who is going to play in this game. But before I do, let me go into a few details about why you should use your Sugar Bowl tickets as an excuse to come to New Orleans, regardless of who is actually playing in the 2012 Sugar Bowl. First, there’s the food. You won’t find food like this anywhere else in the world. Pick out a small local restaurant and just ask what’s good. Shrimp Po-Boys, gumbo, and for that extra special treat, hit Drago’s for their grilled oysters. Out of this world.

Back to the Sugar Bowl. I’m looking at the Michigan Wolverines, a 10-2 team out of the Big ten, to occupy one side of the house. The Wolverines ran out to 6-0 before falling to Michigan State and Iowa two weeks later so they’ve got solid college football credentials. The Wolverines win total includes a 45-17 win over then #16 Nebraska. So MIchigan is used to playing in big games and should be a worthy part of the 2012 Sugar Bowl.

Now comes the Houston Cougars out of Conference USA. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see the Houston Cougars get their shot at a major BCS Bowl. Ranked #6 in the nation, the Houston Cougars are undefeated at 12-0. What we’re going to find out with our 2012 Sugar Bowl tickets is whether all this talk about strength of schedule is as important as we think it is. The Houston Cougars are a great football team and now they get a chance to prove it ona national stage.

So enjoy your 2012 Sugar Bowl tickets. And definitely do not forget those grilled oysters at Drago’s.
